Lenny’s is a well-known breakfast spot in Clearwater that specializes in sweet pastries and cup of hot coffee. It usually opens early and has a wide variety of menus for all types of breakfasts.
I searched for something just coming over the bridge into Clearwater, saw a 4.7 rating, which is usually significant. I must say I was not expecting this Diamond in the rough. I was up from Sarasota, driving uber, and this place blew me away, I am definitely bringing my family here for breakfast, and lunch as well. The Level of quality is astoundingly different from your run of the mill breakfast joint. It is worth the trip from Sarasota just to get a really really good breakfast.

Great experience. Food was excellent, service was outstanding, atmosphere is fun. Wish we found this place last year, will be a regular stop for sure. Cant wait to go back for lunch. We had late breakfast so saw some other tables getting lunch. Portions for both breakfast and lunch were large. Food and ingredients are fresh. If you pick pancakes as your breakfast side, you get 4 full size pancakes. Crazy! Grits were good and all 4 people in my group were happy and satisfied. Each person also gets their own basket of 4 assorted pastries, which were delicious.

This is one of my favorite places to go for a nice breakfast. I love that they give you a basket of pastries if you order one of their platters or omelets. You can also add it, if it's not included. They offer a lot of variety and the coffee is really good. The service is amazing 100/10!

This restaurant was recommended to us by Google as we were in the area, and I have to say, what a hidden gem. The food is so good, great service, amazing prices and the portions are great as well. This is where the locals go, and we will be back for sure. It is easily one of the best breakfast restaurants in the Tampa Bay area.

First visit here and Lenny’s decor gives retro vibes. But, the staff were amazing! The food prices are reasonable and taste good. I like that you get a basket of mixed pastries with you order if you order a platter or omelet. Will definitely visit again.

What a cute family owned diner.Just happened to stumble upon it, but so glad that we did. The food was good and the staff was lovely. Loraine was our waitress and she was so great! The parking is very limited, so be prepared for that.

I know this place has been around for a long time. I was excited to visit and had high expectations. The atmosphere is not what I would want for relaxing breakfast but seemed like it might be worth the hype. The lady at the counter was very friendly but the man seemed annoyed and very pushy. Our waitress was great but seemed rushed. The coffee was really good. I really enjoyed the salmon Benedict, I’ve never had that before. Everyone enjoyed their meals but the bacon was soggy, make sure you ask for crisp!Overall it was a bit pricey. A good tourist spot for sure.

We were hoping for a better "Diner" experience. Meaning, better quality and amount of food. The hot tea was cold and our waitress, Jennifer, was kind enough to bring out a new cup. But it still comes from the coffee pot. The coffee was also cold and tasted like stainless steel... couldn't drink it.The open face pastrami omelet was very thin. One would expect at least 2 layers of pastrami, but you only got 3-4 strips on top of the omelet. The Nova and Onions omelet was simply lacking in flavor. Maybe adding more lox would've done it.They were, however, willing to substitute bread and other gluten sides that came with the omelet. They have picked beets and Cole slaw, but you have to get the manager's ok first. Even so, I couldn't eat them because they were pickled with sugar. Our waitress, Jennifer, was very kind and friendly.Unfortunately, we will not be back.

We always enjoy trying to find local places to eat. This place is a Hidden Gem! We got there & the parking was a little tight because it was early on a Sunday morning but we found a spot. We had to wait about 10 minutes for a seat- no big deal. Once we were seated our server was quick to greet us & get drinks. I ordered the " Debbie" . It is biscuits and sausage gravy with hash browns. I also got a side of sausage links. My husband ordered a traditional eggs Benedict with grits. He is pretty picky about the sauce & this passed muster. All the Benedict dishes come with a danish basket. Those were delish! The place is absolutely bustling. The staff movewith such quickness they wore me out just watching them work. The coffee was a bit weak for our tastes, you could see right through the pot.We seriously enjoyed our food & service & will be back.Highly recommend!

I would absolutely recommend this place. The food was great. The service was amazing and the atmosphere was very inviting. They also gave you a pastry basket which I thought was so cute with the purchase of an entrée. Also got a backstory on the Owner , and it was very touching that the staff was able to share that with us.

Other Yelp reviews got us intrigued by Lenny's and we gave it a shot. We weren't disappointed, in fact, as we were leaving we were already planning on when we'll be back! The service we experienced the entire time we were in the restaurant was fabulous. Everyone was very welcoming regardless if they were our server.Lenny's starts you off with an individual bowl of pastries/breads that were delicious and served with homemade cinnamon butter. The mini danish was the perfect size to enjoy a little something without ruining my appetite for my main meal. (We took most of the items home and enjoyed them later.)My husband and I both had specials that didn't disappoint. He had the seafood omelet with a great balance of flavors. His meal came with two sides. He picked the jalapeño bacon based on our server's recommendation. It was crispy with the right amount of heat. For his other side, he got the pumpkin pancakes so I could try them (other Yelp reviewers recommended). The stack was delicious and came with more of the cinnamon butter.I had the Breakfast Wellington. It had a base of potato wedges with chorizo and cheese wrapped in a puff pastry...topped with a fried egg and sausage gravy. The flavor was great and no one item overwhelmed the dish. Let's just say I came nowhere near finishing my meal! OK, I admit I made myself stop eating so I wasn't stuffed. Don't worry, the other half of the Wellington and pancakes didn't go to waste. I enjoyed them for breakfast the next day.Lenny's is the kind of place you go to when you have an appetite or you can bring leftovers home to enjoy later. We look forward to going back again and trying other things from the menu while doing more of the jalapeño bacon and pumpkin pancakes again!!so contact whapp +801706332973thankss

We had a late breakfast here this morning. It was a very full and busy place on a Saturday morning; and we almost went elsewhere. So glad we didn't! The seating was a very quick and simple process. The service was the same. (Our waitress was Tara) We ordered mimosas, danish basket, a platter of delicious food and a fruit bowl. Food was very good, service was friendly and prompt and atmosphere was clean and family oriented. Also for those with children there was a man making balloon characters also. He was going around to all the tables and taking requests. Very cool creations! Overall we had a great time and will go back again! Thank you!

A trip back in time… friendly staff, wonderful selections, and a great atmosphere. I was staying near Lenny’s and decided to stop in for breakfast. Got there earlier (8:30 am) to avoid the early lunch traffic and I was not disappointed. The portions are generous and the waitresses are very friendly. The menu offers something for everyone and I loved the breakfast specials being named after “Lenny’s Ladies.” The basket of danishes is another highlight of the breakfast trip. They are so fresh and go perfectly with a hot cup of coffee or tea. Overall it was a great breakfast and it definitely hit the spot.

Lenny's will not let you down! The service was amazing! The food was delicious! I got the Nova Benedict that was to die for! And their complimentary danishes are delicious! I would recommend it to anyone! I will be coming back soon so that we can try the lunch menu!

A must visit if you're in the neighborhood. Parking lot is small so even if it is full there might not be a long wait. Had a carafe of mimosas with my potato pancakes and portobello eggs benedict. The potatoes we nice and crisp on the outside. The mushrooms were fresh, cooked perfectly, and tasted amazing with the mushroom hollandaise sauce. I tried a few bites of the mix of danishes they bring with your meal and took the rest home to share. Loraine served me at the counter and was quick and friendly.

When my husband and I had our first trip it was to Florida and the very first place we ate was Lenny's. We have since become permanent residents and we frequent Lenny's to this day because it was just absolutely amazing! From the people to the food and everything in-between it is incredible! The people are very kind and accommodating and will go above and beyond to make sure you have a great experience. The food is mouth watering and full of flavor. I had seen a previous comment regarding a customer feeling as though their ethnicity made them a target to be treated poorly and said she would like to know of anyone else that is a minority had that issue. I am Caucasian and my husband is African American and our children are obviously mixed with both and we have never once had the slightest issue with anyone at this establishment. Like I said before we frequent here and we would never do so if either of us ever felt any type of discrimination or ignorance. I am sorry for their experience however I myself have ever once gotten that impression. I highly recommend everyone in the area to try this place! You will not be disappointed I promise! ♥️🙌

This place is the real deal. The best latkes I’ve had since my neighbor, Mrs Rothberg, made them for me as a kid. The pastry basket that comes with the breakfast entrees alone is worth a trip. I only wish I lived closer, so I could have breakfast here more often.

Lenny’s Restaurant is a delightful spot for breakfast! I had the Cinnamon Roll Pancakes and Potato Pancakes, and both were absolutely delicious. The Cinnamon Roll Pancakes were a perfect blend of sweetness and warmth, with a delightful cinnamon swirl and a drizzle of icing that made them irresistible. The Potato Pancakes were crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, seasoned to perfection. The service was friendly and efficient, and the atmosphere was cozy and inviting. If you’re looking for a fantastic breakfast experience, Lenny’s Restaurant is the place to go.

This place is a dynasty for a reason. The Breakfast Wellington really is heaven on plate. You can get lost in the gravy! The Raisen Bread French Toast is just the right amount of sweetness as well.Do yourself a favor and enjoy yourself here.

The food was good. I should have asked what the steak marinade had in it. It was some type of sugar glaze- don’t like my steak sweet.

Awesome first-time experience! Met two other couples at nearby tables. Such a warm atmosphere! Hotel is walking distance so we will be here many more times during our stay in Clearwater.

This was our first visit to Lenny's. To be honest I was a bit put off by the dated interior, clean but dated. However, we had a very nice, friendly waitress and she took our order quickly. She brought our drinks and a small basket of baked goods - "Lenny's danish basket", a tasty, unexpected treat! Our food arrived and it was all very good!! The Lenny burger is huge, my son only ate half! 😂 He took the other half home and ate it later. The tuna sandwich, ham and cheese sandwich and salad were all very good! We will definitely go back.

This is a great place to go for breakfast and lunch. They have a great variety of breakfast and deli items. This place stays busy and does not take reservations, so get there early. It's worth it.

Friends if you’re visiting Clearwater FL, and are looking for a good spot for breakfast or are from Clearwater this is a good spot to try.Now I am a huge stickler for parking and safety so Lenny does lack the parking space with no security cameras. However, the business establishment encourages its customers to park elsewhere in the surrounding areas making it annoying.Additionally the staff welcome you in a friendly manner and expect a wait time of 15 to 20 minutes for seating. Once you give them your name and party size you.have two small area to wait at. Those places are two small seats hear the front desk or outside by the entrance.Once your name is called you will be seated in a table or booth. An alternative if available you can seat your self at the bar like table area.Menu has a variety of choices to select from and if you choose the Lenny’s preferred selection you get a FREE danish bowl of sugary pastries! Expect to pay a bit more than normal. The service is ok, the establishment look is mint, is a place that’s been there for a longtime. This clientele is booming and always busy. Not sure why not make an investment and upgrade the place and location?Overall I give it a 4 stars and would I come back? Absolutely!!!

Everything here is so good and the staff are always so nice! I love the vibe of the place, the rotating specials like duck bacon and gator omelets are amazing, thank you for being awesome! The banana bread french toast is a definite favorite, I love how there is the option for real maple syrup.

Top 3 of our favorite breakfast spots in St.Pete/Clearwater. Our favorite items are the Danish basket and home fries. They always have good specials too. I was recommend Lenny's by a friend and I'm glad I was! The restaurant has history and years of loyal customers. It's got a retro vibe and keep in mind that parking gets full quickly pretty early.

Another institution dishing out breakfast and lunch for over 40 years at the same spot. The place is off an off-ramp to and from major local thoroughfares. Inside the place looks lived in but kept clean. It could use a little decluttering... The food came out quickly and fresh. It was delicious and perfectly cooked. I had two eggs over easy, home fries with sauteed onion (which was an on- point suggestion from my waitress), bacon and sourdough toast. Even the coffee tasted fresh and delicious. Having said that, the service is what takes this place to the GREAT level! The servers are engaging, efficient, highly effective and as a bonus, easy on the eyes 👀! My server took my order, brought it out quickly and made suggestions like she was reading my mind. Great experience!

Our server Tracy was great as it was our first time visiting. Reuben was delicious and the roast beef on sour dough, too. The beets were amazing on the relish tray, which brought back childhood memories of what would be on our table growing up. We also enjoyed the pickles and coleslaw; coleslaw was old school style with thick chunks of cabbage and not overpowered by mayonnaise. The pastry basket had some amazingly creamy pastries.

First time here, what'd you recommend?"Nothing in particular. It's all just basic breakfast."Ok then. I'll have a western omelet, in that case, please."Do you want cheese in that omelet?"Yes. Cheddar, please.$13.99 for an omelet and $.99 extra for cheese.Never had a western omelet (or any omelet for that matter) without cheese. It's clearly not indicated on the menu that cheese costs extra for a western omelet.
