Song Joong Ki is indeed one of the most sought Korean actors out there. With his charming looks, we can’t deny that even his acting skills will make us fall in love with him!
His name has been in the Korean drama scene for a long time. However, he was once married to actress Song Hye Kyo wherein they received so much love and support for their relationship. Unfortunately, their love doesn’t last when the former couple divorced last 2019.
With more projects lined up for Song Joong Ki, why not reminisce some of the previous roles he had I the past?
1. Innocent Man
This is Song Joong Ki’s first lead role. He portrayed the role of Kang Maru together with actress Moon Chae Won. The drama tells a vengeance of a man to his ex-lover.
2. Sungkyunkwan Scandal
Song Joong Ki rose his popularity on this historical drama. Alongside Park Min Young, Park Yoo Chun, and Yoo Ah In.
3. Descendants of the Sun
After completing his mandatory enlistment. Song Joong Ki received another lead role as Big Boss wherein he teamed up with actress-now ex-wife, Song Hye Kyo.
4. A Werewolf Boy
Song Joong Ki also starred in movies. And one of these is A Werewolf Boy. It is a Korean fantasy drama alongside Park Bo Young.
5. The Battleship Island
This tells the story of Japanese colonization in Korea wherein 400 Korean workers attempt to escape from Hashima.
6. Penny Pinchers
It is a romantic comedy film. Along side Han Ye Seul.
7. Arthdal Chronicles
Arthdal Chronicles is set in an ancient time in a fictional world called, Arthdal. He is joined by Kim Ji Won and Jang Do Gun as main leads.
8. Space Sweepers
Space Sweepers is a space film set in the year 2092 where Earth is completely inhabitable. Song Joong Ki is joined by Kim Tae Ri, Jin Seon Kyu, and Yoo Hae Jin in this film.
9. Vincenzo
One of Joong Ki’s recent works is Vincenzo. It is a dark comedy-drama where he takes the role of Vincenzo Cassano, a Korean adopted by an Italian mafia family. He is joined by Jeon Yeo Been in this series.

Watched descendants of the sun . Loved his charming, straight forward quirky attitude with humorous approaches throughout the drama. Each one of the character of this casting is awesome. I Would surely looking forward to watch more of his lead roles.
